Dr Edda  Sant

Biography

I worked in different Secondary Schools in Spain as a Social Sciences and Citizenship Education teacher and as a Year and Key Stage Coordinator. Following this I worked 4 years in the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (Spain) as a training lecturer in the Faculty of Education after obtaining a fellowship from the Spanish Department of Education (Beca FPU). In 2014 I joined MMU where I am a Senior Lecturer in Education Studies and carry research on the fields of citizenship and political education.

Research Interests

My research focuses on citizenship and history education, particularly on the topics of political participation and the education of national and regional identities.
